Victoria Peak, which rises to 554m above the sea level, is still
the most prestigious residential address on Hong Kong Island. The
Peak can be reached in just eight minutes from Central taking the
Peak Tram.
Ocean Park in HongKong is the largest leisure paradise in Southeast
Asia, and one of the largest marine parks in the world.
Repulse Bay boasts one of Hong Kong's most popular and accessible
beaches.
Temple Street, the "Night Club for the Poor", is a good place
for authentic Chinese food, fake watches, and palm reading. The
night market on Temple Street is definitely a neat place to go.
Climate: The weather in Hong Kong
is varied and extreme at times. In autumn, the region is prone to
heavy rainfall and typhoons are not unusual, while in the summer,
it can become unbearably hot and sticky. The average yearly temperature
here is about 22.8 degrees C. The heat here is not dry heat though,
and it can get incredibly humid here at times. Spring and autumn
are of course, the best seasons to visit.
